With the import wizard, your entire client base comes in from a single Excel file: you download the ready-made template, fill it in with your data, upload it, and the pet owners and their pets are created in one go. Along the way, the system checks every row, corrects misspelled breed names, recognizes pet owners who are already in the system, and shows you what will happen before anything is imported. That way, several hundred clients are done in minutes instead of days. If you get stuck, we'll help you with the switch.

No. PetMetic never plans your time for you; you stay in control the whole time. You set when you're available, and you decide whether the system accepts incoming online bookings automatically or you have to approve them first. The system just helps; the decision is yours.
Yes. Pet owners can get their own account where they can enter their pet's details and microchip number before they arrive, upload photos and documents, and then rebook in moments. You can also put problematic clients on a ban list, so the system flags them and prevents them from rebooking online.
Yes. With multiple staff members (Grow and Studio plans), clients can choose their favorite groomer. If they don't mind who they go to, the system automatically assigns the appointment to an available staff member.
Yes, the system sends automatic email and SMS reminders, so there are fewer canceled or forgotten appointments.
Of course. You can add several animals to each pet owner, each with its own profile and treatment history.
Yes! PetMetic now handles not only dogs but also cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other pets, with 300+ breeds in total. That way you can keep all your clients' records in one place.

Yes. PetMetic keeps a vaccination log, can also look up vaccination data by microchip, warns you about expired or missing vaccinations, and can ask for the required details during online booking too. You decide what to ask for: only the mandatory rabies vaccination, or further details according to your own rules.
Yes. When developing PetMetic, we built a solution for this need too. For example, you can set pets of a certain size or coat type to be bookable only on certain days.
The system is very comprehensive and user-friendly. On every screen, it searches the pet owner's name, phone number and email address as well as the pet's name and breed. After the search, the system highlights the results on cards.
PetMetic doesn't support bulk data import yet; our import/export module is under development. In the meantime, we're happy to help you enter your data when you get started.
The groomer can change the booking in the system at any time and also upload photos and documents to the record, which makes the process and accurate record-keeping even easier.
The system shows what's around the given time slot, so you can easily check for conflicts.
Yes. The system also supports manual appointment booking, so you can easily record bookings that come in by phone. While you enter the details, PetMetic keeps an eye out and warns you about any appointment conflicts, absences and public holidays. What's more, you'll also see if the pet owner calling is someone who regularly cancels appointments.
The data for the canceled appointment is archived, so you can track exactly which pet owners have canceled more than once, and missing data won't skew your statistics either.
Finances and salon administration

The PetMetic Grow and Studio plans support multiple users with separate permissions. Each staff member only sees their own calendar, appointments and absences. The permissions include, for example, cash register management (daily opening/closing of the cash register, managing transactions), absence management (managing their own absences or those of all staff members), viewing reports, or changing settings.
For the monthly subscription fee, the Start plan can be used by 1 user, the Grow plan by 4 users in total, and Studio by 10 users. Their limit lies in the number of locations (Start 1 location, Grow 2 locations, Studio 5 locations).
Yes. PetMetic supports the legally required record-keeping, with pet owner and pet profiles and treatment history. It therefore complies with Section 191, paragraph (7) of FM Decree 41/1997 (V.28.) on the issuing of the Animal Health Regulations.

PetMetic runs on cloud-based infrastructure with 99% annual availability (a maximum of 3.65 days of downtime per year) and automatic updates. We carry out maintenance work at night (between 22:00 and 06:00) and notify you 24 hours in advance.

The system automatically sends email notifications to clients when a booking is made, changed or canceled. It also sends a reminder before the appointment. There's no extra fee for email notifications. SMS notifications are also available for your clients.
